At CD3D-UK all products are made using Bambu Lab filament. It is designed to work especially well with the Bambu          printers and the AMS (Automatic Material System). The big advantages are:

   * RFID tags on official spools automatically identify the material and color in the AMS.

   * Wide range of materials from beginner PLA to engineering-grade carbon-fiber blends.  

   The main filament types used are:

  PLA

Best for, models, toys, classroom projects, and decorative prints.

   * Easy to print

   * Minimal warping

   * Fast printing speeds

   * Lower heat resistance

   Bambu’s PLA is especially popular because it prints cleanly and works very reliably with the AMS.  

  PETG / PETG HF

  Good balance between easy printing and durability.

  * Stronger than PLA

  * Better heat resistance

  * More flexible and impact resistant

  * Good for functional parts and outdoor use

  PETG HF is Bambu’s faster-printing PETG variant.  

  ABS / ASA

  For stronger engineering-style parts.

  * Higher heat resistance

  * Tougher material

  * Better for mechanical parts
